New Member Class

GodConnects is a video-based adult confirmation course developed by Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM). It has been doctrinally reviewed by the Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod (LCMS) and covers Christian doctrine in 12 topics. Each topic begins with a short video and is supported with a downloadable discussion guide and PowerPoint presentation.

Watch the introduction video for each session and then print off the corresponding lesson to read. Each adult member of your family who is interested in membership at Our Savior Lutheran Church should do this. Read and study each of the lessons. Feel free to underline or highlight those parts which prove to be most helpful.

When you have completed all 12 lessons, please notify the Church Office at (972) 771-8118. An upcoming, short orientation meeting will be held soon to complete the process of your membership to this wonderful family of believers. During this orientation session, you will be given the opportunity to ask any questions or to seek further clarification on the GodConnects course. We will also give you a quick overview of our congregation’s history and our mission, vision and goals.
